I always loved Hershey Park as a kid because the whole place smelled like chocolate. And they had a ride that was like the tour ride in Jurassic Park (but instead of baby t-rex's it was yummy vats of cocoa) and on that ride the smell kept getting more and more intense. And at the very end of the ride you got out in a three story Hershey's store and by that point you've nearly gone mad with the tempting aroma of delicious chocolate.
God damn, those Hershey people are master manipulators.
I know! It's terrible! You can help buy buy several years worth of chocolate!
However, the memory that stuck with me from my childhood visit to Hershy was the group of high school kids who were camping next to my family's site. As a wide-eyed 7 or 8 year old, I thought they were the coolest people ever. Or at least, that's how it seemed from the comfort of my campsite.
I made Duncan Hines with Hershey's brownies last week. It made the whole place smell soo YUMM.

They also give you a free piece of chocolate at the end of the ride. That's the best part.
